Sairee Beach is Koh Tao’s main west-coast strip, with a 1.8 km beach, dive schools, restaurants and beach bars facing sunsets towards Koh Nang Yuan. The resort sits above the shore on a steep hillside, rather than along the flat beach path. Pagoda is 450 m away, Top of the rock 500 m, and Point of view 850 m; Haad Sairee is 1.1 km from the resort.

Koh Tao has no airport; visitors arrive by boat at Mae Haad Pier. The resort runs a free round-trip transfer between the pier and the property twice a day, plus a shuttle from the resort to Sairee Beach Centre. Tell reception ahead if you plan to use the pier transfer. The steep hillside can be difficult to walk, as some guests report, so arrange transport for arrival with luggage. Free private parking is available on site by reservation. Lomprayah Koh Tao Pier is 2.1 km away.

Diving is a major reason to visit: Koh Tao has more than 25 dive sites, including Chumphon Pinnacle, White Rock and the HTMS Sattakut wreck, and the resort offers lessons. Long-tail boats from Sairee or Mae Haad reach Nangyuan Island (3.8 km), whose three small islets are joined by sandbars. For snorkelling, Ao Hin Wong (1.2 km) is on the east coast; that coast is generally calmer from April to October, while Sairee and the west coast tend to be calmer from November to March. February to April is usually the driest, calmest stretch, while November is the roughest month.
